I run my own business designing websites and customised software, and also have represented Bablake Ward on Coventry City Council since May 2000, and have respresented Coventry on the West Midlands Passenger Transport Authority since June 2004.
I'm married to Jane, who works as an agency care worker at the moment, but is currently going through the process of discerning whether she a vocation to the Sacred Priesthood in the Church of England. She is also a fellow director and part owner of AW CompuTech Ltd.
We are both members of Affirming Catholicsm the liberal Catholic movement in Anglicanism. We are both servers at St Mary Magdalen, Chapelfields and at Coventry Cathedral. I believe that Holy Scripture needs to be interpreted in the context of Tradition and Reason. I also believe that at the Holy Eucharist (or Holy Communion or Mass if you prefer) that the bread and wine does truly become the Body and Blood of our Lord. I also support the ordination of Women to all three orders, Deacon, Bishop and Priest. I prefer traditional forms of worship.
I enjoy real ale, good food, debate (thological, political or otherwise), skiing, hill walking and generally being in the mountains. Jane and I regularly stay at a friend's backpackers hostel in Kitzbühel, Austria.
I am a graduate of Coventry University with a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science. Before setting up my business I have worked in the IT sector for Perkins Engines, Marconi Communications and Milton Keynes Council (and transfered under TUPE to HBS.)
